Attention: Updated Expiration Date The Advance Beneficiary Notice of Non-Coverage (ABN) Form CMS-R-131, and its instructions have been approved by the federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for renewal. CMS will require using the renewed form with the expiration date of 01/31/2026 beginning June 30, 2023. Providers may use the renewed form now but must use it beginning June 30, 2023, when the previous version expires. The ABN form and instructions may be found by clicking here.
