In the past 12 years, we have grown from servicing one state to seven states throughout the northeast, employing more than 1,500 therapist and support staff in over 80 centers while driving a retention rate of over 94%. In the government’s effort to root out fraud, waste and abuse, program integrity audits are now commonplace. In today’s audit rich environment, denials are inevitable and therapists must be prepared to defend their clinical decisions to protect their reimbursements.

Our Appeals Process Expert is the Differentiator

Managing the appeals process poses an administrative burden for health care providers including our skilled nursing facility partners. Preferred Therapy Solutions has a centralized, dedicated professional who possesses the skills, expertise, and experience to manage the appeals process for our partners. Our Appeals Process Expert ensures we have all necessary documentation to write a clear and thorough appeal beginning at the Redetermination level (Level I) and continuing through all five levels of the appeals process, if necessary. Our success rate for Level 1 appeals ranks in the 90th percentile.

Our Audit Professional Sets Us Apart

PTS’s on-site, regionally focused internal audit function employs a systematic, consistent, standard-based, disciplined approach to protect against the impact of non-compliance. In addition to formal, comprehensive audits which occur on a regular basis, audits are performed as needed or required. Additionally, PTS performs an annual CQI audit of every PTS facility.

Audits don’t just end there. Our auditing expert will continue to follow up, monitoring each facility’s audit results to ensure ongoing compliance and assist our partners in successful survey preparation.
